Still waiting for our 1230 update....this is not to mean that anything is wrong, but the family went to a different room for lunch...likely waiting for all to reconvene in the waiting room.

Greetings: This site has been created by my brother to keep people informed of my status before, during, and after my open heart surgery. To quickly describe the situation, I had surgery (valve replacement and replacement of ascending aorta and the aortic root) on August 26 at the Wisconsin Heart Hospital. I spent only three days at the hospital recovering from the surgery before being discharged on August 29. I will be on a leave of absence from work for at least six weeks.

Thanks for keeping us all so well informed during this difficult time. We can all appreciate the amount of stress you all are feeling while you wait for news.
